I'm going to add my vote for a LINUX version, or web version if LINUX is impossible. I finally made the switch to LINUX, and the only program I miss is Diarium. I went to the trouble of setting up a virtual Windows machine just to use it. I would absolutely purchase another license for LINUX if it was available.

how do i run diarium on linux? the best way is in a virtual windows? or maybe virtual android?

I'm running VirtualBox with a copy of Windows in it. I only open it once a day for my writing. I have Diarium for Android and attempted to set it up in Waydroid, but I must've messed something up because Diarium won't open in the Android virtual machine for me (other apps work, but Diarium dies without an error message, and my troubleshooting so far hasn't been able to figure out why. I'm 90% sure it's user error of some sort). I'd personally rather run it in Android to get entirely away from Windows, but eh, it works.
A native LINUX version would be ideal for me, a web version would also work.

I downloaded this on my Android based on web app availability - since my work laptop will not let me download ANYTHING....would be a shame if there isn't a way to log in.

@timo - please oh please do release a web version

I went off the assumption from https://diariumapp.com/, as per their sales pitch: Journal anywhere

But I have no clue as to how to access Diarium via Windows on my PC. Any clues at all please? Or have I interpreted the messaging incorrectly and we cannot access via Windows?

Oh please, make it a Linux version. I'm a Journey user and they have a linux app for their journey app, but recently I discovered Diarium and I loved it so much! So now I'm sweetching to Diarium, but the lack of a Linux app is holding me back to Journey App. I write a lot and it's not cool write so much on the phone. A webapp would be nice too.

Hi Timo. The app is great. I like it a lot but... Linux app would be great.
For those struggling.... Genymotion is another solution and it does not require Wayland as in the case of Waydroid.

I'd also love a Linux app or a web app. I love Diarium, but i recently switched to Linux and will miss it. I don't use it much on my phone because typing that much on a phone is just not my cuppa.

This is a bit of an older thread, so just wondering, is there an update on a Linux app being developed?

No there is no update. I don't have the time/resources to work on this. I am focusing on the native apps for the 4 existing platforms

It would be awesome if we had an app for linux, but, as a workaround, I'm using an Android simulator on my linux to run the app whenever I want to write. Is it great? No. But at least I don't have to write on my phone.

A web version would be fantastic. It is a huge pain only being able to journal on my phone.

timo I have just puchased Diarium and I love the consept, I would have hoped to see first and for-most a web solution so you could write on the go, work pc, and so forth.
The secound I'd love to see is seperate diaries.
Those two are missing and youd crush heaps of other apps I have tried and my "go to" app I just closed down cause I wanted to try this one as it has better tools and better looks for wanting to use it more then my "go to " one.
I see there are heaps of people hoping for a web solution for this app and I so agree with them. I love your interface and has everything youd (almost) need in one great app. So please considere these things and I : :will probably stick to journaling with you app fare into the future :
