Web app or Linux app

I would be very much in favour of having a web version. I use multiple OS, Linux being my main one, and a web version would allow me wider use than just a Linux app. I would be more than happy to help develop this, provided it was using Angular 😅

Because of Windows Recall, my relationship with Windows ends in October 2025.
That's why I'm also voting in favour of a Linux version (Web rather not).

I can confirm, that Diarium is running very well with an 10 years old Laptop, Ubuntu 22 and Waydroid with GApps (no problem installing these). Then you can install Diarium normally with the Google Store and your account. The speed is good, also the usability (after some correction of the LineageOS of Waydroid). Really great!

Another vote for both or better, any will do 🙂 Web app and also self hosting would be option as well I can help out with container support for easy self hosting setup.

I'd love this feature too. Alternately an option for web GUI from a windows installed machine will also work for me for web version

As someone trying to get away from Windows, a native Linux version of the app would be incredible. I use this app every day, and it's one of the main program keeping me stuck on Windows.

Auch ich hätte gute Gründe, mir eine Linuxversion zu wünschen. Und ich wäre sehr froh, wenn dies irgendwann klappt. Ich verwende seit Jahren Linux Mint und bin damit und daran gewachsen. Soweit verwende ich erstmal die Android-Version, die übrigens sehr schön ist und funktioniert.
Windows kommt mir aus "Gründen" nicht mehr auf den Rechner.

I also have good reasons to want a Linux version. And I would be very happy if this worked at some point. I've been using Linux Mint for years and have grown at it and with it. So far I'm using the Android version for now, which is very nice and works.
Windows no longer works on my computer for “reasons”.

+1 for Linux or web app version. I've happily used Diarium for like a year or two now. And now that I'm migrating to Ubuntu I'd love to be able to use it there.

I have a still-very-functional Macbook Pro that won't run Diarium because it can only run MacOS 10. A web version of Diarium would be very handy for that reason alone (as well as being valuable as a way to update when I don't have one of my personal devices handy).

in the mean time, an effective non-native solution would be releasing Diarium on gumroad as an .exe or .msi file, of course requiring a license, so we can try to badger Wine into running it. It wouldn't necessarily be optimal--Scrivener certainly is not--but it would be a way to sate us Linux die-hards.

I've used Diarium for years, and now that I've completely transitioned to daily driving linux distros, I want to take Diarium with me.

I already do offer Diarium on Gumroad but I have already heard reports (e.g. here) that this doesn't work

Adding a vote for native Linux app. I just switched to a Linux laptop, and Diarium is the only essential app I'm missing.

Casting my vote for a webapp. I work in a secured building so no phones and no personal electronics allowed. Everything I work on has to be accessible via webapp or wait until the end of my day. I currently write it up in an email, send it to myself and then copy and paste it into my Diarium app.

Eine Linux Version wäre wirklich klasse, denn ich verwende auch meist Linux und einer "der" Gründe, dass mal ein Eintrag fehlt ist immer der dafür notwendige Wechsel auf den Windows Rechner.
Eine Möglichkeit wäre sicherlich ein möglichst distributionsunabhängiges Paket z.b. als "snap"-Paket.

Hi there, +1 for a web version of this awesome app.
I can't install anything on my work laptop so I can't take notes during the day except for constantly switching from laptop to mobile, which eventually leads me to not taking notes at all.
