AhiyaHiya I too love this app, and now I'm using Linux more than my Windows 11 install. If this app would be available on Linux as well, Flatpak or Debian image or AppImage, that would be greatly appreciated.
16bithack I am a new user who has just bought the WIndows and Android apps. I am loving it so far! But it would be incredibly handy to have a web interface as I use a Mac for work and would love to spontaneously capture things during lunchtimes without having to go to another device.
Voithos As a current work around, I use KDE Connect to allow me to type on my desktop keyboard into My Android app. Not as nice for sure, but It does allow me NOT use Windoze as often!
YetAnotherGuy Hi Timo, I appreciate all the hard work you've put into this tool and all the integration points it has. I get the struggle with supporting a wide range of operating systems. I think the best option would be to create a web-based version and want to add my vote for this here. It might be a great way to get into progressive web apps and consolidate the different platforms you are working on.
AndrewWysocki If the energy is put into it. You could dump Android and Windows version and just use the PWA - as the app So one code base and get rid of the unique android and windows apps. Apple - well..... I've never been a fan so you may have to continue to support them. But PWA should also support Apple so one app - Done!
gortir In these times, when digital sovereinity gets more important from day to day, it would be absolutely great to have a web app or a linux app for diarum. I even would pay extra for it (like for the mac-os app)!
kyotocafe I would also love to have a linux or web version as I am not using windows anymore, and I like to use diarium on my computer , not only on my phone. Thanks !
sean I can also confirm that waydroid works well! diairium works, fast and snappy. You just have to install waydroid with GAPPS, certify it for google play: https://docs.waydro.id/faq/google-play-certification and then install/login. Works great. This is a pretty complete solution to be honest, I'm happy, and I don't have to pay for an extra platform which is a plus. chimpsociety
Fabian Would also love to have a linux app and willing to pay for it. That is basically the only program that is missing from my linux lineup.
Stefaan I'm willing to pay (again) for a Linux app. I have privacy concerns with the way Windows is going, so I'm migrating completely to Linux. In a web app I'm not interested.
Rachel I would love a linux version too as I am contemplating trying to get away from MacOS and its restrictions.
KKsenia I signed up to vote for a Linux version. I love the app btw, thank you very much! Besides, I would like to buy it in any other way than GooglePlay. Is it possible?
