I would commit to Diarium in a snap if it supported inline images within a post. When I journal during travel, I always have narrative around each photo. For non-travel I often do as well. I am sure this is implementable with moderate effort if it was architected with edit vs. view separation:
- link to an image from the middle of a post's text (doable even in text-view). A button or menu in the editor could bring up the images to select one.
- view the post (not in edit mode) with the images interleaved with the text (doable with e.g. web-view)
Photos at the bottom are terrible, specially considering that the app is otherwise almost perfect. Just separating the editor from the viewer would satisfy most who want this feature. When just browsing posts (launched from anywhere -- timeline, map, ...) the viewer should be the default, and an explicit user command could switch to edit mode.
Very similar to this forum's post editor, with the "View" button. User Antyrox suggested this above, I would add the viewer.
