Hello, I read some of the posts here. I purchased a Windows premium and premium on my iphone. Everything is to date on both devices but i can't get it to sync even though I press the sync button on both devices. What am I doing wrong?

Hi from Auckland, New Zealand. I'm David.

I'm in the process of migrating from Journey (used since 2021), with the help of some scripts provided by CoPilot. It was not easy, especially to get the old data landing on the correct date. (Might be my timezone.)

I think I'm good to go, now. Diarium looks much nicer, and I'm happy to have my data (and wallet) out of Google's clutches.

NOT NEW BY ANY ACCOUNT

I am a long time user of Diarium and love it.. although I wish I were more consistent in posting... my new resolution perhaps. My only disappointment with the product is that while the classic (Gumroad) version of the app supports Markdown formatting, the Store version does not — despite both being functionally equivalent otherwise. I find it disappointing that I would have to pay again, and even more, to access this feature.

It would be appreciated if Markdown were added to the Store version, or if some cross-licensing path were made available.

I'm a little confused, Gumroad- and Store Version are identical in functionality. Diarium does not support Markdown, but rich text formatting

But now my question is about the text and a requirement that is used in a newspaper, is there any format that can be used to pretend it is wrong but in the format?

Any way to pass text from a file or by copying and pasting?

Now, I want to travel the world and document my life for my 2 grand daughters who are now 13 & 14 years old. I spent the first 12 years of their lives with them and have nothing but fond memories but Im getting older and time to see the world.

I do not keep a diary. I use Diarium to keep track of my camping. I have been using handwritten books for this as I never really found an electronic journal that I like.
Until now. I LOVE this app. Already use it on MacOS and two iPhones. I use it to track my travels, I use the templates, the photos import, the location logging, the tagging. It does everything I need it to do.

Greetings from the Sonoran Desert in Southern Arizona.
I've been using Dairium to document and track my gardening. I've tried a variety of gardening apps none of which I found to be fit for purpose, too fiddly and complex for what should be simple. I wanted a way to track what was planted and when, as well as document with photos. I make good use of the search feature. Can't remember when I planted those 80 days to harvest Tuscan Melons? Easy peasy, I just search for Tuscan Melons to remind myself when I planted them. I also enjoy the calendar view, using photos as a way to document this journey.
I appreciate being able to purchase rather than subscribe.

Hello all! I'm from the New England area in the US. I've been keeping diaries since I was a kid, so I'm definitely not new to it, but I prefer having an online version! I've been looking for another journal type of app since I've been using Penzu for a long time, but I've noticed some issues with it (such as images disappearing/entries not saving). Diarium was highly recommended and I can see why! I like it a lot so far!

I find the tags in Diarium super helpful. I had my journals separated in Penzu, but the tags pretty much allow the same thing. My different journals include:

My usual day-to-day one (that I don't actually write everyday in, whoops LOL)
A dream journal to notate vivid dreams and nightmares (I dream often and remember a lot, sometimes I will also include artwork to accompany so it's nice to have an app that includes the image attachment in the calendar/timeline)
A travel journal with lots of photos
And etc!

Keeping a journal is always something I’ve thought I “should do“ but never quite got into the habit. I’ve been using Diarium for about two weeks now and the habit finally seems to be sticking! I particularly like that I can have a template, which I use on days when I don’t feel like I have anything particular to write about, which appeals to my need for structure. I also love the fact that you can have a key photo for every day -I always choose something that really represents the day, so I can see what I’ve been up to at a glance of the calendar.

I am based in Fredericksburg, Virginia, USA. This was recommended by one of our adult children, a perfect recommendation indeed. I have my personal/professional Journal scattered across at least four other online platforms, and I have been absolutely horrid at keeping them synced and current. No longer, this is precisely what I've been needing. And it works, it really works, no sort of kind of, it works. So here we go!!

Randommemee Thanks for the replay and suggestion, but I decided I would just abandon my perfectly good, but no-longer-supported 2014 iMac and buy a new 2025 Mac mini to use as my new desktop, using my TV as a monitor.

I eagerly went to download the Diarium app on the Mac OS store, but only then did I find that I still can't sync with the desktop because the Pro Version I bought that worked for my iPad and iPhone doesn't work on my new desktop.

Looks like I need to spend another $15 in addition to the $500 for the new computer..

Based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England. I have been keeping a diary for many years now.
I love fountain pens, and I have over one hundred in my collection.
I often refill various pens with different coloured ink to make my diary/journal entries.
However, I decided to give Diarium a try, as it seems to tick all the boxes for my requirements.
Daily diary entries will continue to be written, but will also be posted on Diarium for future searchability if referenced.
I will be trying out all the features of the software to see what it can do. - Thank you for reading!

I am absolutely the worst at keeping a journal. Have previously used RedNotebook and, having installed Diarium earlier today, copy/pasted all my entries over, noticed that my last entry before today was 28 months ago 😐 hoping that Diarium will help me change that into a daily habit.
