I just discovered this app and am test driving it on my smartphone. I have intermittently kept a journal for over four decades -- sometimes for years at a stretch virtually every day, other times there are years when I record virtually nothing. I've tried various formats, in the beginning page by page of fairly developed prose in little bound books of various formats, sometimes just jotted notes in pocket calendar books (page-a-day, month-per-page, &c.), after about 1990 various starts and stops in various format computers (luckily I compiled those into Word.doc files about twenty years ago and printed them out, because old floppy discs became unuseable, sometimes data files themselves become corrupted). I've tried various notes apps, Notes, Evernote, &c. I could readily bore you with more (ask my wife), but you get the picture. I like the concept of what I see here, the possibility of linking photos, automatically pulling in such things as weather info, &c., plus the reminder function (although something seems to have happened to tonight's). Hopefully that last (assuming it works -- I've jiggered with the phone's notification settings to hopefully make it more prominent) will keep me journaling away on a more consistent basis.
One question for the creator(s): Would it be possible to add some kind of daily news summary link (optional, of course) similar to importing sunrise/sunset, weather, &c.? Maybe just the headline for the daily news summary of a service like 1440. (I have no stock in the service, by the way -- just consider it a fairly unbiased service that I start the day by skimming and would like to be able to preserve the major points as part of my journal without having to do it manually.)
