I've been keeping a journal on and off since 2012.
A few years ago I decided not to leave any 'empty' days in my journal and I try to wrtie something every day, even if its really boring stuff like, everyday chores - just something so as not to leave a blank day. I have kept this up so far and it's become a habit now so I can't end my day without a journal entry.
Looking back on my past entries, I hate seeing those days where I didn't write anything, I was thinking of ways to "fill in the blanks" and since I can not remember what happened on those missing days, I decided to go to a website where you can see "what happened on this day" and I choose something of interest or relevent to me and use that information!
I have tried the "photo a day" thing too but most of the time I had missed (or forgot) the opportunity of taking meaningful photos and ended up just taking selfies in the evening! This didn't really capture the days events and looking back on those photos the only memories I get to relive from those is knowing if it was a good day or a bad day by how big my frown was 😂
Does anyone else have any suggestions on how to fill in past empty entries?
