New app logo for Diarium (with poll)

There seems to be no clear winner here, especially not when comparing to the current logo, which many users prefer over any of the alternatives presented here.
Therefore, I will be sticking with the current logo - at least until I find a logo that the majority supports.

timo They are all pretty good designs and what I like is the subtle differences in shades and patterns. Personally, I think middle right looks great. It has the calendar, the quill, and in my opinion, the lines are more aesthetic than the squares.

timo I absolutely love your app. It's better than any other I've used, and I've used plenty. But whenever I tell my friends about it, they laugh when I tell them the name.

I do explain that the word "Diarium" is Latin for "Diary" but... well, I guess we are who we are. Vox or Libertate would fit the bill, no?

Anyway, just wanted to thank you for the beautiful interface and functionality of the app you've created. I'm a fan for life!

Thanks for your feedback. I understand the issue with the app name. I might do another poll for it at some point. It would be quite a drastic change at this point of the app's life. I am sure many users would disagree with a name change or don't see the necessity for it (e.g. because they don't speak English). Another problem is possible trademark violations or just similarly named apps (I just did a quick search in the app store and there are a ton of apps called "Vox" already). Libertate sounds nice but the name isn't related to journal as much as Diarium.
Happy you like the app, thanks for your feedback and I will keep this topic in my mind.

I voted for F because I like the colors, and it looks more modern.
Whichever you choose, could the logo be made larger? Notice how the current square logo looks in my dock compared to the two square logos beside it.

soundog I sized the macOS logo to have a comparable size to Apples apps, e.g. the App Store App, which also has a smaller logo
