Erratic behaviour when selecting text

Diarium version: 2.7.11.0
OS + version: Windows

Whenever a diary entry exceeds the default daily space, in other words once an entry starts scrolling the page and a scroll bar appears, and a part of text is then selected with the cursor it causes the page to 'jump' erratically.

The only way to stop this happening is to hit enter a few times while the curser is at the bottom of the page thereby leaving some space between the last text and the end of the daily entry space.

Another annoying bug is the scroll bar at the far right hides text in the entries.

These bugs are not new and has been a feature of Diarium since I started using it in December 2019.

I am unable to reproduce this on my device.
Can you send a screen capture video that displays the behavior so I get a better idea?
Also, what Windows 10 version are you using?

The scrollbar thing is not a bug in my eyes. By default the scrollbar is so thin that it doesn't hide any text

Hi timo ! Great job on this app. I absolutely love it both in my Windows 10 desktop and Android phone. Keep up the good work!
However, I have the same problem as Gary here I think. When there is too much text AND pictures in the windows 10 version, the scrolling resets automatically when you click on some parts of the window.
Here's a video. I was basically spam clicking at some points though you cant really tell, but not once did I press a key or scrolled up.
And here's my windows specifications

Thanks for the video and system information.
I was now able to reproduce this problem, however as I don't control the scrolling in my code, I suspect a Windows problem here.
When googling, I found this thread, but all the workarounds in there did not work for Diarium.
So at this point I don't have an idea where to start looking to find a workaround...

Oh that's too bad 🙁
At least it's a minor thing.
Maybe Windows 11 will fix it... and probably break other things in the process 😂

Hi Timo, thanks for trying to solve the problem.
Is there a way you can stop the scroll bar hiding some of the text characters please? Would be great if you could.

Gary send a screenshot because the scroll bars should not be covering anything in the first place

Ignawesome already sent a screenshot. The scroll bar only hides some of the text once the diary entry exceeds the default window and the scroll bar becomes highlighted.

I suffer from this bug as well. I see the reasoning above and hope it will be fixed somehow. I enjoy the app a lot otherwise but this is quite an annoying thing.
