Calendar pictures

I started using Diarium yesterday (17th Sept). On the calendar tab, there's a picture filling the 17th box. I was expecting it to at least move to today (18th) but the 18th box just contains 18, while the 17th still has the picture. I can find no way to add/remove/change daily pictures. What am I missing?

Diarium version:
Windows 11, Diarium version 2.9.84.0
Device model: Dell Inspiron laptop

The picture you are seeing on the 17th is the default journal entry which is created when first opening the app. It doesn't move, but you can delete it if you want to get rid of it.
You can create a new entry (and optionally add pictures) on the 18th and other dates

timo Thank you, Timo. Can you tell me how to delete it? As I said, I can't find a means to add, change or delete the image.

You click on the entry and then the delete button.
When you open a day, there is a big "Add photo" button on the bottom
