When I write an entry, I find I start off with one topic and then veer off into other topics. I like to keep the flow when I'm writing an entry, and then organise into entries and tags later on. Would you consider adding a "Create entry from selection" in the right-click context menu for selected text?
How I see it working is you'd select a paragraph or two, right click and choose this option. Choosing this option would cut the text and paste it into a new entry.
