Formatting Toolbar

Please add a formatting toolbar to the entry screen. This would make it more similar to a word entry form and allow for much faster entry. This is supported in the IOS app which I use as well.

I also vote for adding nested bullet points feature request.

Why is the formatting bar in the context menu not sufficient? Does it involve too many clicks? I would like to keep the UI as "clean" and uncluttered as possible.

The formating bar does not have option to change Fonts. For some people like me Fonts make all the difference.

With help from @redeyeshev I've found the formatting bar. However I'd like to reiterate the original request from @Exempo to implement a formatting bar within the entry window on the Windows client. To offset the desire to keep the interface uncluttered, you could make it an opt-in feature. Potentially move some of the other default entry toolbar buttons to opt-in. e.g. Insert timestamp, share, export, emoji, dictate, on this day.

I'd like to strongly support this wish. Maybe I'm getting old, but meanwhile I get into quite a struggle with 'clean' and 'clutterfree' interfaces, where you have to know a different mantra for the same functions in every new window. Meanwhile I think nothing is more complicated to operate than a device with one knob and one signal light and 2000 functions. May it look as clean as it wants.
What about a 'pin' function in the flyout-toolbar, to 'pin' it on the top or the bottom of the writing area just like in the android version, for people like us in this thread, who prefer a clear interface over a clean interface? So everybody can handle it his preferred way.
By the way, I don't find the android interface with the static tool bar less clean than the windows interface, but, of course, that's a matter of taste.

DetlevBielz +1 for optionality, so I can choose which elements to show or pin in the Windows app vs which ones to remain hidden. This ultimately lets me define what "clean" and "clear" mean to me, which I think you expressed very well!
