Diarium version: 2.7.1
Operating system: Android 10
I would like to see multiple levels of indentation, and only on bulleted lists would be fine. The line should indent to the right of the bullet. This example Shows 2 levels:

I:
• watched an episode of "Tough as Nails."
• Watched a movie, Agatha Christie's
"Maples," this one also involving multiple
murders. This is not, by any means, an
endorsement,just a commentary
• Got old neighborhood news
○ Don's e-mail that Fred died
○ Asked what had happened
○ Wrote sympathy card to Donna.

I agree. This would be such an amazing feature to see in the app. I agree that it would be nice even just to have it for the bulleted lists.

I made an account so that I could +1 this. This would be a big improvement for my use case.

Is it possible to have idents of the second line at the same space as when first letter in first line starts (as on Android application)?
Windows 10, 11:

Matjaz Unfortunately I haven't found an easy way to do this yet, sorry.

I just started using the app and so far it is the ONLY journaling App that fits my needs without trying to lead me down other avenues not wanted. This feature is the one thing missing and i created an account to +1 this.
Even if we only support 2 or 3 levels of Indentation that would be helpful.

My mind thinks in a way that tries to break things down and dont always like to have all sub thoughts in one continuous paragraph, instead breaking them into sub bullets related to the parent theme. Indentation allows easier following of the sub thoughts and relationship between parent and child topics instead of having them all on one level with multiple parents.

One of the earlier comments indicating using different symbols for that, which i had not considered but this is kind of a workaround still.

That said, wanted to say, GREAT work on the app. GREAT work on making it single payment vs the subscription models, Keep up the good work.

Ooh! And add that feature where you can start a line with * to automatically format for a bullet like in a word processor.

This is my one biggest wish for Diarium!! 🙏🙏
In Discord there is a thing called a quote block, which places this line on indentation before the message. I wonder if something similar could be made for Diarium? Even just one level of multi-line indentation would be soo helpful with organizing certain thoughts!!!

I would also really really appreciate this feature. Fingers crossed!

Love the app regardless though, thanks so much for your efforts! With Diarium I've finally begun journalling almost daily, and it's kinda changing my life.

Edit: more specificity. Just like word processors, I think its visually useful if the indented sub-bullets are different symbols. And as someone else said, a keyboard shortcut (e.g., asterisk) would also be very convenient

Would love to see this happen.

      Cannot agree more.
Adding a “tab to indent” (for keyboards) and a button each for “indent” and “outdent” (for tablet users) would help make Diarium complete, from a writer’s perspective.

Made an account to post as well. Would love a handful of levels of hierarchy in bullet points. It would make a world of a difference.

I'm not really sure, if I mean the same thing, but my request is also about indentation in a bulleted list (on Android).

I'd like to have the option to create a line break within the same item / bullet point of a bulleted list, i. e. without having a new bullet point, but to align the text of that new line with the text of bullet point above.

Normally when creating a new line with the 'ENTER'-button a new bullet point is created.
It can be removed - of course - by deleting it.
But the new line is no longer indented.
An option to indent the new line to align it with the text of the bullet point above, e. g. via a button, would be very welcome.

However, 'Diarium' is a great app and Timo's work is highly appreciated.

Thank you for trying to implement all aspects of the indentation feature.
