Unordered list not working

I started an entry, titled it, and then began an unordered list. Everytime I hit return for a new line, new bullet, it removes the bullets and either increases or decreases the indent.

I also have this issue. Running with the trial version at the moment. Very strange behaviour that should be fixed.
Will carry with using a # as list bullets

I am unable to reproduce this.
Does the line contain any text before you hit the return button?
What phone model are you using and what keyboard app?
Ideally, could you record a small screen capture video and share it with me?

Same thing happening in ios as well.
Line does not contain any text before hitting return(native ios keyboard)

Clicking return after second dot/bullet is removing the dot/bullet instead of creating third one

Unfortunately i could not upload my ios screen recording as video format is not supported.neither is file upload in the portal.

So i am sharing link to the file and validity is set to 30days from now and 20times max. Video recording

This is expected behavior. Why would you want to create lists with empty line items?

I just checked the behaviour in ios notes app.
When there is no text it removed the bullet/radio button. But this is happening for first dot/bullet itself. Not from second dot.

That’s why it’s confusing.
You can keep the behaviour but it should start from first dot/bullet instead of second one.

The first one is a special case on iOS for technical reasons (it is difficult to have the first paragraph render with a left padding if there is no text in the text box).
Is it really that confusing and big of a bug? I don't think so. I have already spent many hours on that specific issue, I don't think it is worth spending even more just to workaround this technical problem.

I deleted Diarium from my android Samsung phone and then reinstalled the app.

I, all of a sudden, am experiencing the same issue with respect to unordered lists. My Windows desktop version is unaffected. I have a template with unordered lists with no text. They appear on the sync'd version of my android device but as soon as I start tap beside a bullet, all unorder list bullets disappear. As I continue typing, the screen jumps and indentations change.

I create a template with lists with empty line items because I prefer to write in my diary in bullet form. Hopefully you can find a fix. Please and thanks,

Just tried to reproduce this again, using my Samsung A52 & the latest Samsung keyboard version 5.6.00.29 - I was unable to reproduce any weird behaviors.
This problem only seems to happen for some Samsung devices and I still haven't figured out what exactly is causing it.
Please provide as many information as possible if you see this happening.

What exactly do you press on the keyboard for this problem to occur?
Does the problem occur every single time you do this or only sometimes?
Does it happen for both unordered and ordered lists?
What Android version, OneUI version and Samsung keyboard version are you using?
Is the problem also occurring when using the Google keyboard?

when opening a new day of my template, as soon as I touch the space to the right of an unordered or ordered list, all unordered bullets disappear

Yes, every single time using my Samsung Galaxy A71 but it doesn't happen in the windows 10 version.

Does it happen for both unordered and ordered lists?

What Android version (13), OneUI version (5.0) and Samsung keyboard version (Version 5.6.00.29) are you using?

NO...I JUST INSTALLED GBOARD AND THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED
I prefer the Samsung keyboard so if there's anyway that this bug can be fixed, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I also have to say that I LOVE DIARIUM and I've been journaling quite religiously ever since I got it a couple of years ago.
