Ditto. Bulk selection/editing is an essential part of managing a database.
Conceptual approach:
Long press on an entry or an icon in the top bar gives the option to switch into 'bulk-select' mode from the drop-down menu, where you can select multiple entries to delete them, assign tags/people/trackers, change the location, change their creation date and add ratings.
To prevent accidentally deleting stuff, I'd like if the delete button needed to be pressed for 3 seconds. That way, it's consciously done and you don't accidentally slip over it.
