iOS Send to from other app fails due to FaceID

Diarium version: 3.3.9
Operating system + version: iOS 26.6.2
Device model: iPhone 13

When sending a picture from the iOS photos app the import fails when FaceID is activated for Diarium. The calendar selector gets cut off by the FaceID prompt.
When switching off FaceID in Diarium import works normally.

Thanks for reporting this. I haven’t been able to reproduce it on my test device. Could you share a short video (send to diariumapp@outlook.com) showing the steps from sharing the photo in Photos through to the problem in Diarium?
Does Face ID successfully unlock Diarium, and does the date selector then disappear or remain visible but stop responding?

Does not occur, when Diarium is not running (in the background).

The FaceID animation seems to be cancelling the date selector.

Thanks for the video and clarification! I could reproduce the issue when Diarium was already running in the background and have implemented a fix to keep the date selector open during Face ID authentication.
