Missing entries following update of app

Diarium version: 3.3.2
OS + version: 26.5.2

When I opened the diarium app on my phone this morning, an update was automatically launched and photos were automatically saved from my past entries. However, many entries are nos missing. Is there a way to recover the entries that are missing ?

An app update itself does not delete entries. Do you perhaps mean that an automatic sync started and attachments were downloaded?

Please let me know:

Which sync provider are you using?
Are the entries also missing in the Calendar view, or only in the Timeline?
Do you use Diarium on another device?
Which date range is affected?
Do you have a database backup from before this happened?
