KeithRice21 I understand that if my family are on the same iCloud account they can share my diary? However, if we use drop box and we buy 2 sets of the APP (1 each) would we be able to share the same diary?
timo Yes - but you need to login to the same Dropbox account when you set up the Cloud Sync. Then the data is synced via the same Dropbox account, and you can share a single journal
KeithRice21 Thanks Timo. I love your work but I think you need to treat me like a dummy so if you have the patience please help:- I already have a diary linked to my iCloud account. How do I log into my dropbox account ? I can see in settings that I can change the sync. But do I need to start a new diary in order to login to Drop Box or for that matter the same iCloud account as my partner?
timo KeithRice21 I already have a diary linked to my iCloud account. How do I log into my dropbox account ? Go into the settings and change the "Cloud Sync" setting from iCloud to Dropbox. Then login with the desired Dropbox account. Your existing journal will be then uploaded to Dropbox
AvinashR which type of clouds is faster. i have android, iPhone and mac running it on icloud but running it off space. not planning to pay for extra
timo AvinashR I tried to give an indication about speed in the Cloud Sync FAQs. I'd say Google Drive is definitely the slowest, WebDAV depends on your own server, OneDrive, Dropbox & iCloud probably around the same speed, while iCloud is not recommended on non-Apple devices because you need to re-authenticate in 30 day intervals
