Handwriting!!

I like this app and use it for pics but I like the draw and handwrite as well.

Can you add this feature so I don’t have to go to other apps when we need to sketch or handwrite.

I've stopped using it. Switched to onenote because of this.

I love the app but miss being able to sketch/sometimes switch to handwriting….

I switched from written diary to Diarium because it is easier/quicker to type and because I always have iphone or ipad or mac available and it synchronizes perfectly (I bought 2 apps Diarium so that I can use it on all devices). I also love it that I can add pictures BUT missing the feature to sketch or sometimes write by hand

I used to write all diaries on laptop or phone, but after getting a tablet I found myself going to the notes app and write down using the pen, and it's indeed a more enjoyable and engaging!

Having the ability to write and draw directly inside diarium would be awesome, and more organized as right now my ideas and entries are fragmented between two apps

I'm glad i read the rules before MY suggestion. I'M very very upset that l didn't make sure this was an option before buying this. Especially because its a journaling app and im usually the person telling MY kids to put pen to paper When they write and not to type it. I tell them ALWAYS write the first draft on pap er because it matters. Even if I'm not sure of the actual science behind it. I n all honesty, l wouldn't have purchased it. I haven't looked at the whole thread to see if there seems to have any momentum for this addition and I just really don't want this to be a waste of a purchase. I know I should've checked first. I didn't though and I wouldn't want the entire app to go to waste.

I guess I didnt really explain why its so important to me. I just know that when I'm writing rather than tyoing, it tends to come out more genuine and i;m difinitely more connected. when i;m journaling, I dont want to feel like i need to correct my punctuation or like its so formal. I can almost bet that there's people on both sides of this opinion. If they have only typed most of their life, it probably doesnt make a difference. For me though, Its so natural for me to try to perfect my typing because thats what i've been taught. typing was always my final draft when i was in school. way back when. I'm sure its a response to that. whatever it is though, I just cannot connect without worrying if it looks goood when i;m typing. Which was another reason i just tried to type this with all my mistakes and not delete anything to go back and fix or spell check and it is SO SO difficult to just leave this the way it is. I'm going to. Sorry, I was proving it to myself though. I dont even want to give it a shot because its that difficult and it just wouldnt allow for authenticity

Yep bringing that feature is the only thing that is keeping this diary from being the epitome of diary apps, handwritten is always better for thinking ( Recently remnote app has introduced it too)

Came here also for the writing/drawing suggestion. I'm sure it's a beast of a request and might not be possible, but it was the thing holding me back for a while. But I love this app!
I use on all platforms.
