Extra Space Between Timeline Entries

Diarium version: 3.2.3
OS + version: iPadOS 18.7.3
Device model: iPad Pro Gen 3
Installed: Sept 24, 2023
First mention of issue in my journal: Nov 1, 2025, when I figured how to 'Fix' it.

I use mostly the default settings, with Preview Pictures, Show Tags and Full Entries enabled.

I use 'tags' in many of my entries.

Just editing an entry and doing a bunch of things, it will eventually happen, but unpredictable when.
BUT... I recently found an easy/consistent way to show the issue:

I assume tags are required, since toggling tags in settings 'fixes' the issue
On the timeline Tab: select the 'Settings' Gear Icon -> 'About'
On the About tab, select 'Community Forum'
After it launches the 'Community Forum' in Chrome, go back to Diarium
The Timeline entries now show extra spacing between entries.
To 'FIX' the Diarium Timeline display, select the 'Settings' Gear Icon and toggle 'Show tags in timeline'
The Timeline view goes back to normal display

Unfortunately I haven't understood what the problem is, I wasn't able to reproduce an issue with the steps you explained.
Can you please add a screenshots that makes it more understandable?

I've just noticed that you are still using iPadOS 18. Can you please update to iOS 26 and see if the problem persists? Or does that iPad not support iOS 26?

I have been waiting for the .3 release and I always wait a week or so. I did 26.3 today.
My instructions above reproduced 100% before 26.3. Now 0% in 6 tries.
