in Settings >password protection, i can turn the password off and open up the diary
without first verifying the current password. then closing the diary and opening it again
comes up without a password, 'open diary' am I missing something here

It's only possible to turn off the password when you first unlocked the app. I'd see a problem if you could turn off the password without having to first unlock the app. Or did I misunderstand and this is in fact the case?
