Unfortunately I am unable to reproduce this issue on my MacBook Air M3.

Are you using the built-in display or an external display?
Are you using some custom macOS accessibility or display resolution setting
Did the problem start to happen just recently (with the 3.2.0 update) or did it also happen before?

timo The problem is no longer happen. The next time it happen, I would try to reproduce it

Actually I have a Mac M3 - and I too can see this exact problem.
More info: I'm pretty sure I didn't see it till my recent upgrade to Tahoe AND it only happens only on my external monitor - built in display is fine.
Monitor DELL SE2722H - current res settings: 1920x1080

Let me know if you have any other questions (I'm a developer myself and know how frustrating it is when you can't reproduce a bug)

P.S. I really love your app - I've tried a number of different journaling apps, and wasn't satisfied with any of them. Since I switch to Diarium - I'm stuck for life

Hmm this is weird. I checked the code and from what I can tell, I didn't change those buttons for at least 2.5 years. I also tested on my external Dell monitor, but the problem doesnt show, no matter if I use 2560x1440 or 1920x1080 as resolution.
Please let me know if you can narrow down the issue - I'll also keep an eye on it
