I suggest adding a count-down and count-up for the diary entry.
It will count the time passed since the date of the entry (count-up) or the time left till the future date (count-down).
For example, if there is an entry "Wedding", next to it you can see 4y5m.
You can add it to the Tags, Search and Timeline tabs next to every entry.
