RTL text defaults to wrong alignment

problem: After writing an entry in an RTL language (Hebrew, Arabic, etc.), exiting the editor, and re-entering: all of the text that was aligned to the right while writing becomes aligned to the left like LTR languages would.

solutions: align the text based on directionality or leave the alignment to the user to pick.

im sorry if this is considered a feature and not a bug

What language did you write the text in and what language is your iOS device set to?
Diarium currently doesn't store the text direction in the database, but on Windows i implemented some automatic detection that automatically aligns the text if it detects that it's RTL text

timo the answer to both is Hebrew, I also helped translate a lot of the app to Hebrew yesterday 🙂

thepro I was able to reproduce the problem and fix it! But I'll expect the next update to take at least 3 more weeks until it's published.
Thanks so much for helping with the Hebrew translations! The total progress is still at around 40 %, that's a bit too early to include it in the app. In case you find enough motivation to complete it, please let me know. I can also offer you the Pro version as a small "thank you" for your efforts.
Also, the translation website has a "Automatic suggestion" feature that can speed up translation significantly - make sure to use it 🙂

also i didnt even know about the auto translate 😂 that would sure speed up the process by a ton haha, tho im motivated regardless to complete - its pretty satisfying filling it up 🙂
