timo The notification is only showing when you didn't write an entry for that day yet - perhaps that is the case?
Len timo I had not written an entry for the day yet. So it should have notified me that I needed to do so. But it did not notify me. Went two days without my adding an entry with no notifications. I thought that it was supposed to tell me that I haven't added an entry for the day yet!
timo Yes there should be a notification in your Android notification center. It works for me and I haven't heard similar reports from other users. I'm not sure how to help. Maybe Android is somehow blocking those notifications, perhaps you can check in your Android settings
Len I use Diarium mostly on my Chromebook ... it pops up in a window I searched and searched and looked but can't find a way to unblock it if it is indeed blocked. But I didn't search through my Google Pixel 8 Pro smartphone because I don't really use it there. As you can see in the image ... "today" (Sat 28) has no entry ... and I have received no reminder even though it is hours past the notification time.
timo Does toggling the "On this day" option show a notification (if you have already written an entry on "today")? I think I need to get a new Chromebook so I can properly test this, my current one is almost unusable at this point
Len timo How is the notification made on a Chromebook? To my email? Via txtmsg (which I read on my Chromebook)? Or some other place?
timo Len The notification should show in the Chromebook notification area, on the bottom left next to the clock (at least on my Chromebook) - it works correctly for me
