Running Diarium on Ubuntu?

Long story short: Was sold a Windows 11 installed laptop only to find after a while via Windows Update that the hardware isn't compatible with Win 11. Installed Ubuntu instead. Has anyone successfully run Diarium on Ubuntu via Wine or something similar? I love to journal on a laptop and until I can afford a replacement, I'm struggling to use Diarium how I want to.

I would check out VirtualBox or VMWare (I use both on 2 different machines). You can then install Windows 10 or 7 them.

The Windows version of Diarium will not work on Linux. Here a user mentioned that he was able to install the Android app, maybe it works for you, too? I don't have a Linux machine myself at the moment so I am unable to test it. Please keep in mind that I only offer the app through the Play Store - I would not recommend downloading the APK from other sources
