Thank you for your prompt response. I tried to find an export I generated testing the year. I'm just positive I was able to manually enter 1865 and it saved without issue. It's what helped me take the final step to purchase. Is it possible this was available in 2023 when I began using the app and was changed with an update?
I've been using the app mainly as a health diary and now wanting to move into novel documentation. I have a lot of book research that's year and date specific that I'd planned to input here then export by tag to doc format for import into manuscript software on PC (making your head spin yet? lol). With having those timelines already populated, i.e. 1865 Civil War events, and in order by date, I can then cut and paste scenes, events, dialogue, etc., that I've written inside those timelines into manuscript software. Also with Diarium's lossless save feature and using voice entry, I could very quickly make entries from several books I have flagged and get them to doc format but again these are 1865, and prior, civil war era entries.
Either way, please consider this change. I thought I saw another entry about timelines and using the feature for genealogical purposes which would trace back prior to 1900. I have used Ancestry for years and could totally see that if researching and\or writing about family history.
I really hope the feature is opened up. Feeling a little defeated now because I know what a huge difference this would make with documentation and compilation of all the historical data I've collected over the years.
If not then it is what it is, but here's hoping :-)
Best regards,
Sandra
