Cannot quit Diarium without Force Quit on Macos

I am unable to quit Diarium without using Force Quit.
I have checked that icloud syncing is working with my laptop, so that shouldn't be the issue.

Diarium version: 3.1.15
OS + version: Macos 12.7.6 Monterey
Device model: Apple iMac 27" 5k

A similar problem has been reported for my other app WorkingHours here and here but I am not able to reproduce it. I suspect it has to do with the sync, does the sync icon spin while you cannot close it? Is the app still responsive, meaning that you can navigate through your entries? Does this problem only happen randomly and sometimes, or every time you try to close it?

Hi, I don't see a sync icon spinning, but yes the rest of the interface is navigable.

I just noticed it the other day when I tried to shut down my mac and it wouldn't quit. Since then it has been happening all the time.

OK, just now after I took the screen shot, I force quit it, and relaunched, and now I can quit it normally. I'll wait and see if that changes.

Would it be possible to make a screen recording that shows the problem and send it to me via mail? This often contains many information that are helpful to me understanding the problem

What would you like me to record? You can see from the photo that the Quit Diarium menu option is greyed out. That's about the extent of the visual component to the problem.

E.g. what happens when you click the red "x" button of the app window?

OK, well the red X does quit the app while the "Quit" option is available. The next time the Quit option goes away I'll test the red X and record it.

Have same problem: cmd-q doesn't Quit and deactivates the Quit button. There is no other possibility but to cmd-opt-esc. After the next start the problem remains the same. In former versions this didn't exist.
V: 3.1.15 MacOS 15.3

Can someone please send me a screen capture video via mail? Those contain just more much more information that I can work with compared to 2-3 sentences. Thank you! I also need to know if you are using the Cloud Sync, what Cloud Sync option you are using and if the problem also happens when you have the Cloud Sync disabled.

OK, I got it to happen again. Perhaps it only happens when you try to shut down the Mac with Diarium running?
I have a video. What email should I send it to?

OK, I've sent you the video. I am using Cloud sync with iCloud and automatic cloud sync.

Thanks for the video. I think I finally found the cause for the problem and it should be fixed with the next update.
