Disable ratings and location on search page?

Apologies if this has been asked and answered elsewhere, but I did not see it.

I search using my tags a LOT, but I do not really use ratings or location nearly that much. Is it possible to disable/hide them on the search page? This is more of an issue on my iphone than the desktop. Every time I search, I have to scroll past the ratings and location selections to see my tags that I want to select. To be clear, this is not a showstopper. More of a nuisance. Just wondering if there is a quick setting/fix that I might be missing?

No you're not missing anything. You are right that the filter screen takes up quite a bit of space, especially for the ratings. And the numbers of options are only going to increase in the future (see here). I will think of ways to reduce the size that the rating + location filter do occupy in the search screen

I agree with @DanRomer. I don't use Ratings and Locations either but I always use tags. It would be nice if Tags were placed above both of them.
