Microsoft vs Google

Hello,
I have the free version of the app on my google phone and I LOVE It. I use it daily and it is just great. However, I was trying to figure out how to get it on my laptop to make typing longer entries easier. I ended up paying for it throough the Microsoft Store (HP laptop) and have not been able to figure out how to sync it to my google account with all of my entries. I would love help to figure this out. I hope that it is clear to understand.

Summary: How do I synch my journal from my google phone (Playstore and gmail account) to the downloaded paid version on my HP laptop(microsoft) so that I can journal both on my phone and laptop in the same account?

On Windows, simply click on the "Sync" button on the bottom left, then select "Google Drive" and log in with your Google account.
Then do the same on your phone, where the "Sync" button is on the top right.
