Just click the sync button to force a sync.

JoshMcGrath The more I work with the app the more confused I am about the syncing capabilities. The app defaults to a new entry each day for my Mac OS device and my Andriod. Is this what should be happening?

Please explain in more detail. What exactly are you seeing? What do you expect to see? What actions are you doing int he app? Screenshots would be appreciated

Also, can you copy and paste images into a diary entry? When I selected all from a website that had pictures as a copy, I got the text, but no images when i pasted into today.

Sorry, I'm new and still groping around a bit, but I did purchase the OS and Andiord version and intend to use it daily.

It appears to have resolved itself. Maybe just the first few entries were duplicated because I didn't correctly set up the sync to my Google Drive.

How about images from the web on my Mac desktop? I love to save an image that strikes me on the web (being a photographer) and it would be great to dump it into the diary entry for the day. I can't seem to accomplish this via either copying the website (text and all as I sometimes do into a Word document) and paste it into a diary entry. Only the text and hyperlinks survive and the photos disappear. The not ideal end around would be screenshotting it and adding it as a file. Any tips? A setting I missed?

You should be able to just drag&drop the image from the browser to Diarium. If that doesn't work, then the image isn't properly set up as "image" in the website.

timo No, that's not the case. I've tried numerous websites and I keep running into this problem. Also, some basic formatting (I expected some of this, but bullet points or a list organized by numbers also aren't happening either) isn't retained like it would be in a cut-and-paste into Word.

I did not say that Diarium can identify the images when copy-pasting an entire website.
I can drag & drop this picture from your linked website to the Diarium entry without any issue

If you believe I should invest time into adding this, please open a new feature request. This post is about sync between Android and MacOS
