Thanks for your reply! As a developer myself, I understand how challenging it can be to handle these edge cases. There are so many factors to consider, and making everything perfect isnât easy. As a solo developer dealing with so many user requests, itâs clear you need to prioritize to keep the project moving forward while maintaining balance in your life. Your approach really inspires meâit feels like an unexpected bonus from buying this journaling app, haha.
Regarding the âlist copyâ and âtext copyâ issue, Iâve always felt that MS Word has some outdated behaviors. It often has hidden formatting, and whenever I copy something from it, I have to be careful not to accidentally include those hidden symbols at the start or end. At first, I thought maybe Diarium was dealing with something similar.
That said, I think this issue is still worth addressing. If itâs difficult to differentiate between âlist copyâ and âtext copy,â maybe defaulting to pasting as plain text would make more sense? At the very least, the fact that pasted content sometimes turns into a list and Ctrl+Z doesnât work can be a bit frustrating.
To avoid adding more to your workload, Iâll hold off on suggesting any additional feature requests. If simplicity is the appâs focus, those extras arenât essential. But should I create a new discussion specifically for the âlist copy vs text copyâ issue and the undo shortcut? Or is it fine to leave this here?
