Adding my voice to this request. CMD+N for a new anything (document, entry, etc.) has been standard procedure for Mac apps from the very beginning, and it would be tremendously helpful. I don't know of any other diary app that doesn't create a new entry on the current day when you hit CMD+N (or CNTL+N in Windows).
Currently in Diarium adding a new entry for today is a multi-step process:
- Click +
- Click New Entry (or hit ENTER)
This quickly becomes dozens of (what should be) unnecessary steps when making multiple entries a day, as I do.
The current process makes sense when you want to add an entry for some other day, and can still be used for a current-day entry if that's your preference.
