I am currently using the tracker system like a "category" tag. For example I have a tracker named "Games with wife" and then I use string values for each of the games we have played. This way I don't have to add 2 separate tags to my posts and it's more clear what game I have played with my wife. I have no idea how the trackers are supposed to be used, but I have found this to be a great way for me. If trackers are not supposed to be used like this, I would suggest adding a category tag system to the app.
Filtering the posts by using trackers is lacking some important aspects in my opinion. I would like to be able to filter the posts by using the values in trackers or at least be able to see the values before opening the filtered post.
I would also like if the tracker values would be separated by comma and not added as a new tracker tag for each value. For example if I add 2 games on the same day then it adds 2 tracker tags like this: "Games with wife: Game 1" and "Games with wife: Game 2". I would like it to display it like this: "Games with wife: Game 1, Game 2". This is just a nice to have feature, but I thought that I should bring it up. I know that it causes problems with the current system, when deleting used trackers from posts.
Here is a summary of the request:
- Ability to filter posts by using the tracker values and not just the tracker as a whole
- If former request is hard to make, at least show the tracker value under the post when filtering the posts by tracker
- Separate multiple tracker values by comma
