Importing .docx files from Dropbox

I got this app because I wanted to import my Journaling files into Diarium. They’re in Dropbox as .docx files. However I can’t see any way to do this. If I can’t do this, I’ll need to get a refund because this was the only reason I purchased the app. I can’t find this discussion anywhere else online or in this forum.

.docx files cannot be imported. They don't contain structured data like .json files.
Diarium also doesn't advertise such a ".docx import" feature. What made you think Diarium could do that? Diarium even offers a 7 day trial period where all features can be tested without having to purchase anything.
I cannot refund purchases made on the Apple App Store (you would need to contact Apple for that).

It says cloud sync, import diary, backup diary - since the files in DropBox are just .docx I didn’t think it would be a problem. I don’t see how I could have anticipated that.

TrudiGoldbergPires The app does support all those features. You can create a Diarium backup and import that backup into the app again. It doesn't say that it can import any kind of (non-Diarium) backup.
I'm not sure what .docx files in Dropbox you are referring to. Diarium can export the journal data to .docx - but that is not a backup. It's an export
