If the app is free to download and use on my phone and tablet, why do I have to pay to use it on Windows desktop??

Pretty sure you got a 6 day trial on the app download, it cost me $12-13 CDN through the iOS app store.

Ive had the app for over a year nowon my samsung phone. Never paid anything.

There just is no free version of the app on Windows. It's paid only (the same as the Pro version on the other platforms)

Yes they sync. On Windows, there is no in-app purchase - you simply need to buy/download the app.
On Android, there is a "Pro version" menu item in the main menu

I don't know how to describe it in more detail. You can try to access any Pro version feature - if you aren't on "Pro", Diarium will show a dialog that can lead you to the Pro version page, where you can buy it.
If there is no such dialog, this would mean you already own the Pro version

maybe i'm already on pro then cuz i dont see it. i could have sworn i never bought anything but maybe i did.

why is that app on the phone different form pc then? i have to pay twice . once on the phone and once on the pc.
