New text replaces old text when typing in front of old text

If I have text written down and then I type in front of the text, the original text gets replaced by the new text instead of the new text going in front of it.
I have the desktop app and the phone app. This bug only occurs on the desktop app for me.

Hey there! I also use the desktop version of this app, as well as other platforms. I've encountered this issue over the past few days as well. What worked for me was closing and reopening the app. This temporarily resolved the problem until it happened again. I’ve noticed this issue tends to occur when I have large amounts of text in an entry or if I leave the app open for extended periods. While this isn't a permanent solution, it has helped temporarily fix the issue when it arises.

I do hope this get fixed, as I tend to reword things a lot ;(

Are you sure you don't have the "INSERT" key active which enabled overtype mode? I cannot reproduce such issue (I also tried with a longer text) and I am sceptical that there is such a bug in the app that I could fix

timo Thanks for the help. It turns out that was the problem. I did not even know what the function of the insert key was but after disabling it the problem has been resolved.
