Tags disappear upon syncn

I recently deleted over 200 notes by Deleting them on my ipad, then backing it up, then going to my iphone and Windows laptop and recovering from that backup. All went well.

Today i went through some back diary notes which i had imported last year and added the tag "log". One day at a time. June through December.

Then hit synch. All the new tags disappeared. All of them.

I started over and tagged 15 notes. Synched. Ok. They stuck. I have not touched the other two devices.

So i tried a whole month, 30 notes, tagged with "log". Synched. Tags gone.

Hmm. What's the magic number?
20 is ok.
did 30 again. ok.

Hmm. More investigation to do

So to boil it down, you add 30 entries with a tag and then sync - immediately after the tags you just added are gone again? I didn't test myself, but I am having problems believing this is reproducible - at least reliably. What is the message of the app when syncing? "diary was uploaded" or "diary was downloaded"? If you can give me a minimal amount of clear steps of how to reliably reproduce this, it would be much appreciated
