AI transcription of audio recordings

Incorporate AI into Diarium so that when I use the record audio function a dialgue box comes up asking me if I want transcription. If I chose YES, the audio recording is transcribed and the text of the transcription is added to the entry.

Yessss !! I was searching for such a request !
For now I use voice recognition in the ChatGPT app and then copy and paste the transcript to into a Diarium entry, but it's a bit tedious.
It would be so useful to integrate audio transcription into Diarium !

Using ChatGPT to transcribe (or Whisper), works great, but yeah, super tedious.

I've been using the following services for a few years and they do everything I need and more.

ElevateAI gives you 1000 transcripts free, and it resets at least monthly (I think its actually daily. lol ). You can bulk upload and when it's done you can get the transcript and all kinds of NLP features and you have alot of options for export.

There's also AssemblyAI, you can use the playground and the output is really slick it is great for QA and its got all kinds of nlp stuff too. You can save the link to the output and just use that as a unique workspace for each transcript. It's as polished as otterai and similar apps but completely free.
