ERROR: Multiple Node Elements can't be created.

I have used copy/paste extensively over the past year, daily. Today, I encountered this ERROR message when I attempt to paste into my daily journal: "Multiple node elements can't be created". This function worked flawlessly for at the very least, a year. And now it's gone? Was there an update or something that could have changed this?

I have tracked down this issue and have an idea where this happens - when the app is reducing/simplifying the HTML to be pasted so that it conforms to the HTML that can be handled by Diarium. But I still wasn't able to reproduce it. It would be great if you could tell what kind of text/content you were copying and from where. If I can reproduce that on my side, I will be able to fix it.
I also made some changes to the HTML-simplification code that might resolve the problem in the next update

I just got this error when copying and pasting from Excel on Windows. I had selected a block of cells and it successfully pasted an image in the entry and posted the error message.

timo There is no update for Diarium available for me in the store (Australia), unless there's a secret method of access I don't know about. It just says Open.

I might have had this problem start after I updated Windows or Excel. I don't copy and paste every time so I don't know when it started. If it helps, Excel version is Version 2405 (Build 17628.20110) which I can see is out of date, I am going to update that and see if it changed anything.

Edit: that didn't change things.

There is a more up-to-date version available. Did you manually search for updates in the Store?

timo Aha! I did a quick google on how to find updates apart from visiting the app's store page, found it, downloaded and installed it, and lo and behold the clipboard contents now paste a photo, AND text, AND no error message.
