Flashing empty dialog box (with cancel the only option) on starting entry?

For the second time I found that when I went to add an entry and clicked on today's date (and possibly when I moused over one of the buttons at the bottom, though I did not click on one?) an empty dialog box came up and filled the screen, with cancel being the only option, then disappeared and reappeared without my clicking on it a few times. After a few minutes the problem vanished. Any idea what caused it? I quit the app then restarted it and it did not recur.

Probably an integration (e.g. Strava integration or something like that) had to refresh the access token, which it automatically did. It would be the same dialog that shows when you enable one of the integrations. I don't think this is a bug. Or what exactly is the issue? Does this happen a lot? What integrations are enabled?
