Diarium version: 3.0.81
OS + version: iOS 16.2
Hi @timo
I am a new Diarium user who is contemplating purchasing Pro version. I have been using DayOne to journal for over 3 years. I have close to 2,500 entries with 2,800 photos, 100 videos & 400 audio recordings and about 500 pdf files. I wanted to migrate all the entries to Diarium. I created a backup (JSON zip) including all the media and the backup file with a size of 9 gb was created. I migrated all my journal entries from DayOne to Diarium using your app’s migration feature. Overall, the migration process went smoothly, and I was able to transfer my text entries as well as images, videos, and audio recordings without any issues.
However, I encountered a problem with the migration of PDF files. Despite including them in the backup (JSON zip) file created by DayOne, the PDF attachments are not appearing in my Diarium entries after migration. These PDF files contain vital information, and it’s crucial for me to have them accessible within Diarium.
I’m reaching out to seek your assistance in resolving this issue. Is there a specific step I might have missed during the migration process, or is there a compatibility issue with how Diarium handles PDF attachments from DayOne backups?
Any guidance or support you can provide to ensure the successful migration of PDF files would be greatly appreciated.
