Switch from icloud to google drive

Space on my icloud is running out. Is there a way to switch this data to google drive?

In other words, when i switch the cloud sync option, will i loose icloud data or it will present in local device and then when i log in to google drive it will simply sync(after clicking manually)?

I am looking for safe way to migrate cloud from icloud to gdrive without loosing data.

I am using iphone 13 and ios17.4
I am also using mac air 2021 and latest os version

Will gdrive sync work seemless on apple devices?

If you simply switch the Cloud Sync to Google Drive, Diarium will just do a normal sync to Google Drive. If no Diarium data is available there, it will just upload it. The data will stay on iCloud and you'd have to delete it manually.
You can always do a manual backup to be on the safe side.
Btw, Google Drive is probably the slowest of the sync options, I would recommend using OneDrive or Dropbox instead.

But i noticed in the forum that one-drive have some weird issues. I may be wrong. But dont want to risk or get irritated if those problems .

I am asking about gdrive because it has 15gb free space whereas others provide 5gb(icloud) not sure about onedrive/dropbox though
