Inviting Others to View Digital version

Hello! I adore this app, use it every day and show it to everyone I meet!

Wondering if there is a way to share the digital version of the diary with my children. I'd like them to be able to access the pictures full size and navigate through the calendars like I do instead of only having the Word export preserved with it's smaller pics, no videos and different formatting. I'd love to have a digital format preserved after I'm gone for history's sake.

I agree. I was finally prompted to start journaling after my mom passed away. Putting together the story of her life was challenging and made me wish there was some kind of chronology. Plus it would be nice to share things with family members while they are still alive!

With the Cloud Sync it is possible that multiple users can access the same journal (by using the same Cloud storage account when connecting to the sync). However, when doing so, all members of the Cloud Sync can add to or edit the journal, which might be undesirable in some cases. But maybe it works for you 🙂

I would like to support this feature request: it would be great to allow other people (children, good friends, ...) to view (read only!) contents of my diary. Ideally, with a filter to a limited time period and a filter based on tags (e.g. only entries with tag "trip to Paris").

ThomasSchumann With how Diarium is build/designed, this is basically impossible to realize. The journal is either on your device or on your personal cloud storage - how would other users could get access to that data without granting them access to your device or Cloud storage?
