Adjustable sync frequency

When switching between apps it's annoying that I'm welcomed by syncing screen when I switch back to diarium every time. Since I switch between apps quickly it's slowing down my workflow significantly.

I propose that you introduce a parameter for setting sync frequency. I would prefer the sync to be done once a day, somebody would like every hour, etc. But not every time I switch back to the app

You can disable the auto-sync in the app settings and sync manually. I'm currently not planning to add a parameter for sync frequency. In general, the sync should be very fast (only 1-3 seconds) so it shouldn't be that bothersome. In your screenshot it seems that you have added a new attachment and then left the app (which triggered the auto sync). Unless you switch back to Diarium in under 1 or 2 seconds, the sync should already have completed when you come back to Diarium

I also want a delay on sync frequency. I also use a lot of apps while journalling. For example: calendar, calculator, gallery, notes, dictionary, google maps. I use these apps simultaneously. It annoys me when Diarium pops up the sync window and temporarily blocks me from journalling every time i go back to the app. Yes, it blocks for a few seconds but it happens frequently.

I wish there was a delay. Like if a sync was recently done within the last 10 minutes, it won't sync again. That would lessen the interruptions.

Now there is a cancel button while syncing.
I don’t like to have a delay because what if it syncs while i am making an entry? It can interrupt at any point of time whether it is 5/10/..mins.
