Batch sync cloud data

I would like to know how date is synced

I was in remote area for a month where there was no proper data speed. So i added entries without syncing. When i returned home and tried to sync using mobile data. But it took lot of time.

Let’s say if sync takes lot of time and when i try to sync later it takes same amount of time and takes lot of time AGAIN.

Is it possible to sync in batches either by size or number of entries in one go, if not already done.
So that i can sync in smaller parts.

Sorry, I didnt really understand this. Is this a question or a feature request?
What would be the benefit of syncing in batches.
I don't think this can be done easily as Diarium always syncs the whole journal file (only the media files are treated separately)

In case of syncing large data sometimes syncing fails and restarts all the data. Having split into many chunks increases saving time and less/no failure.

I am actually asking about media files only not the journal file

How exactly does the sync fail?
Syncing media in batches would be a rather big change in the sync logic and I need to be sure it doesn't break anything

Low internet speed with so many files (120 media files)

Or I decided to sync later in mid which then syncs from the beginning. This would not only waste time(resyncing) but also mobile data

AvinashR What exactly is the error shown in Diarium? What Cloud Sync provider are you using?

There is nothing wrong at the moment. iCloud Sync is working fine.

I just had situation where internet was slow and could not sync... I don't have screenshot. I wil provide when I get the error again. Its general sync error. Nothing special to my case.

I'd be interested in the error because maybe the problem can also be mitigated by simply re-trying the operation (e.g. upload of a single media file) instead of canceling the whole sync operation. The same is done already when syncing to the other Cloud services.
