timo "Cover picture" refers to the picture that shows up for your entry in timeline and calendar view. Always the first picture is used for that. You can reorder your photos either by drag- & drop or you long-press a picture and then select "Set as cover photo"
Pra timo ok now I understood, I thought with this feature I can change background colour and use any image as background for each entry 😂.
