Change of fonts in different languages

I am using Pro on IOS. I always wrote the diary in Chinese and want to have more fonts available for Chinese. Hope can introduce more fonts on the app. Or we can upload fonts on the app by ourselves.

On iOS & macOS I can make these fonts available: https://developer.apple.com/fonts/system-fonts/ (but only those for which a Bold, Italic & Bold Italic variant is available, otherwise the formatting options would stop working)
Which one would you be interested in using?

Also, can we use multiple fonts in one single entry? Just like in Microsoft Word.

Thanks! Sadly the fonts you mentioned do not have an "italic" font variant. So the italics feature in Diarium wouldn't work and existing italic text would disappear, which is something I want to avoid. Perhaps there aren't any Chinese fonts that support that?

No, different fonts in one entry is something Diarium doesn't support and likely also will not in the future.

Oh, then I think no Chinese fonts support the "italic" variant on Mac.

Too bad. Maybe I will find a workaround at some point or simply disable the "italics" option when a font was selected that doesn't support it. That would then also make many more fonts available to be used in Diarium, not only Chinese fonts

I decided to add a whole new range of fonts to the next update, incl. your proposed ones: SF Pro Rounded, New York, Chalkboard SE, HanziPen SC, Kaiti SC, Mali, Niramit, Noteworthy, Xingkai SC

Added to both iOS and macOS app
Some of those fonts do not have a italic font variant, as noted above. The "italic" button will be disabled when using one of those fonts
Some of those fonts need to be downloaded before they can be used. Download happens automatically when selecting them

timo hanzipan great font, I love it. How to download it on PC? Can I download it separately? To choose on PC version.

kolom If you are referring to Windows with "PC", then you simply can install any font as .ttf file and Diarium will show it as option in the app settings
