Request for an Option to Disable Image Compression

I am using the Windows version of your app, and I've noticed that images I upload get compressed. Could you please add an option to disable image compression? This feature would be very useful for those of us who require high-quality image uploads.

Vaishali This doesn't disable image compression, but reduce image compression.
I am currently not planning to add an option to completely disable it. I would expect many users to disable it without understanding the consequences (decreased performance, much slower sync speed, ...)
Also, this request has been put in before, e.g. here or here. PLEASE use the search before entering duplicate feature requests.

Of course, my reply above meant for the user @sean. I'm totally satisfied with the attachment compression that Diarium offers now. Having high quality images would increase the size of the database tremendously. That's not what one would appreciate in the long term 🙂.

Vaishali I agree. I really appreciate how well Diarium handles a lot of images. I put a lot of photos in Diarium and use low-compression. This gives a good enough image for the memories, and I have all high resolution images stored separately in Lightoom should I ever need them.
