I tried again with Anti-Virus and VPN switched off. It makes no difference at all.
timo When Diarium finds that the timestamps are "out of sync", then it does a merge, then content is compared as well.
I've been thinking about that statement, but it doesn't seem to align with what I experience.
I'm repeating myself here, but but just in case my other reports were not clear enough I'll explain once again.
Everytning is about the message that refuses to be deleted. All others behave correctly (but didn't try to delete them)
a] When I change the title and/or date it gets sync correctly all the time. So Diarium detects a diffrent timestamp there.
b] When I change the contents of the note, the cloud version gets restored as if that has a more recent timestamp.
c] When I apply a template, it gets synced correctly.
d] When I manually deleted the stuff the template added, it gets synced correctly.
e] When I edit the text and apply the temple, both get synced correctly [1]
[1] So the trick to be able to edit the text is applying a template.
Why all of the above is true, it's not reproducable....
Just as I can't reproduce the trick I wrote about in my third message in this thread.
Looking at the timestamps on Google Drive.
When I add or remove a picture all timestamps get updated.
When I edit the title v4_database gets updated, v4_mediaindex not.
When I edit the main body of the note, none of the timestamps get updated!
When I edit the main body and title v4_database gets updated
With 15884 characters the message is quite long. Actually the longest message I have.
